KAL•TEC is an educational resource to connect you with programs and classes in and around Kalkaska. This listing of classes and training providers exists to help Kalkaska County residents upgrade their skills. Our mission is to improve workforce skills to improve businesses and the economy of the area.

Adult Day Services (Caregiver's Reprieve)
Kalkaska Memorial Health Center offers Adult Day Services - a community-based program. Adult Day Services allows caregivers a chance to rest, keep appointments, or work knowing that their loved one is in a comfortable, home-like setting. Elders enjoy music, exercise, and crafts. Assistance with toileting and bathing are provided.
Adult Day Services is offered Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 9 am to 4 pm. Adult Day Services is located in the large yellow house on Coral St. next to the Dialysis Center.
This is not a drop off program, but requires an assessment process and pre-planned visits. The cost is $42 for four hours or less, and $62 for more than 4 hours. Scholarship monies may be available for families that qualify.
