From site location assistance to job training grants, from help with permits to tax abatements, we're the state's official economic development corporation -- a one-stop resource for businesses seeking to grow in Michigan.

Online services for employers: establish and employer web account, file wage reports, file tax reports, make tax payments, access account information, registration and seeking work waiver, and more.

Northwest Michigan Works! Business Liaisons provide a single point of contact for businesses in ten counties of Northwest Michigan. They assist businesses with human resources needs, employee training, and employee recruitment. Business Liaisons write On-the-Job Training Contracts through the federally funded Workforce Investment Act, reimbursing businesses 50% of a new employee's wage for up to six months.
