Transportation in the greater Petoskey community has been the subject of continuous debate and discussion in recent years. The Petoskey Area Transportation Study was a means for organizing public input and finding implementable solutions to transportation issues.

The study process was guided by a steering committee comprised of local elected and appointed officials and staff, called the Petoskey Area Transportation Committee (PATC).

Northwest Michigan Council of Governments dministered and provided technical assistance for this process.

The Corradino Group, a Michigan-based firm with extensive experience in transportation and land use scenario planning, conducted the study with funding provided by the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT).

The study was completed in December of 2007.  The final recommendations are found on this web site under "documents and reports".
