The objectives of the 18-month study were to accomplish the following, with public involvement as a prominent part of each phase:

  • Identify potential local road improvements and other ways to relieve congestion and increase mobility in the area;
  • Consider the impacts that proposed transportation improvements and chnges in the local economy will have on the area;
  • Find ways to protect this area's rural, residential and commercial areas through land use and community development policies that complement the transportation system.

The purpose of the study was to identify potential changes to the existing roads that will enhance transportation patterns while having the least impact on land use and historical development patterns.

This study was completed in December of 2007.  The study's final recommendations are found on this web site, under "documents and reports".
