EG specializes in recruiting and staffing for short and long-term temporary, trial-hire, professional/technical, and direct placements positions. The job fair will be held at Manistee Michigan Works!, 1660 Us-31 South. EG is hiring for Metalworks and Fab Lite for these positions: Machine Operators; Racking; General Labor; Paint Line; and Assembly. Requirements: HS Diploma/GED, industrial/manufacturing experience a plus, 6 months recent work history. You must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Neighborhood Meeting

Venture Start: Business Start-Up Workshop Traverse City

This course is designed for individuals who are considering self-employment, or who may be at the beginning stages of starting a business. Delivered in a workshop format, this introductory session helps aspiring entrepreneurs assess their abilities to lead and manage a company, as well as evaluate market and sales potential for their products/services. Start-up costs, financing options, and business planning are introduced, along with necessary steps to getting started. The workshop is free to attend but pre-registration is required. This workshop will be held at the NMC Parsons Stulen Building, Courtyard conference room, on Aeropark Drive.
