Leelanau Scenic Heritage Route

Winding and scenic, the Leelanau Scenic Heritage Route provides the traveler, whether local resident or visitor, the opportunity to experience the many unique villages and landscapes that are woven together in Leelanau County. The bays, lakes, rivers, streams, and lands are the resources that drive the economy of the region and contribute to the sense of identity of its residents. It is because of this unique charm that the residents of Leelanau County approved designation of M-22, M-109 and M-204 as Michigan Scenic Heritage Route.
