Hospitality Bridge Training:
Introduction to a Career in Hospitality
![]() |
Bridge programs provide transitional preparation, typically from unemployment or under-employment into a particular industry or college curriculum. This 75-hour hospitality “bridge” training provides an introduction to a career in the hospitality industry. Topics for this interactive training include basic customer service skills, professionalism, teamwork, empowerment, decision making, stress and time management techniques, goal setting, skill-specific training, and promotion of local hospitality careers. It also prepares individuals to be regional ambassadors, so they can provide customers with information about local attractions. Individuals will be prepared to successfully find employment within the region’s hospitality businesses, and will possess a more competitive edge to positively stand out in the hiring process.
