Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce contracted with Regional Planning and Community Development to develop an economic forecast for the 5-county region of Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, and Leelanau counties. NWMCOG staff utilized relevant data to forecast economic trends by industry and to assess local impacts. The Forecast is presented each year by NWMCOG staff at the Chamber of Commerce’s Economic Forecast Breakfast, held before the Business Expo.
