2010 Regional Economic Outlook

Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce contracted with Regional Planning and Community Development of the Northwest Michigan Council of Governments (NWMCOG) to develop an economic forecast for the 5-county region of Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, and Leelanau counties. NWMCOG staff utilized relevant data to forecast economic trends by industry and to assess local impacts. The findings are presented each year by NWMCOG staff at the Chamber’s Economic Forecast Breakfast, held the morning of the Business Expo.
