Support Efforts on the Ground

  • Raise funds for on site and out-of-classroom STEM activities
  • Sponsor aligned partner projects
  • Provide mini-grants for STEM activities to organizations, teachers and community member
  • Award scholarships to teachers for professional development and local students pursuing STEM-related degrees.

 

Convene Like-Minded Leaders and Stakeholders

  • Encourage relationship building between schools, businesses, parents and youth interested in STEM activities
  • Distribute the talent and resources of STEM professionals via a searchable database available to registered educators and organizations

 

Advocate and Inform

  • Increase awareness about the importance of STEM education and its opportunity to impact our regional economy
  • Provide regional STEM leadership by:
  • Distributing resources and information on a website dedicated to STEM-related opportunities
  • Promoting and sponsoring events, speakers and other STEM-related activities
  • Organize efforts to influence decision makers and public officials on STEM educational issues impacting our region
