Many self-directed services are available to job seekers in the resource rooms of our Northwest Michigan WORKS! Service Centers. However, Career Advisors offer the next level of services, with a more individualized and in-depth approach. A Career Advisor can assist a job seeker in writing an effective resume, developing interviewing skills, and cultivating networking techniques. A Career Advisor can also enroll a job seeker in publicly funded programs if the individual is qualified. These include Classroom Training and On-the-Job Training.
