  • Venture Start: Business Start-Up Workshop Traverse City

    This course is designed for individuals who are considering self-employment, or who may be at the beginning stages of starting a business. Delivered in a workshop format, this introductory session helps aspiring entrepreneurs assess their abilities to lead and manage a company, as well as evaluate market and sales potential for their products/services. Start-up costs, financing options, and business planning are introduced, along with necessary steps to getting started. The workshop is free to attend but pre-registration is required. This workshop will be held at the NMC Parsons Stulen Building, Courtyard conference room, on Aeropark Drive.   • Government Procurement Made Easier

    This free, half-day program that will summarize the ease, benefits, and advantages of becoming a U.S. government commercial-item prime or subcontractor utilizing special Federal Acquisition Regulation provisions.
