Northwest Michigan WORKS! provides relevant and helpful services to local businesses. The Business Liaison is an employer's first point of contact with the Michigan WORKS! system. A Business Liaison will connect the employer with all pertinent resources. Business Services include employee recruitment and training, basic workplace skills, outplacement services, and more. Employers can also visit a business consultant with the Small Business & Technology Development Center, or receive assistant with obtaining government contracts via Procurement and Technology Assistance Center. Also, please visit the Workforce and Business Development Resource Center, a joint enterprise between Michigan WORKS! and local chambers of commerce, providing links to local resources for businesses.
